Fighting Sexual Violence Through Musical Campaign Together with Lentera Sintas Indonesia

Lentera Sintas Indonesia, an NGO that focuses on issues of sexual and gender-based violence in Indonesia, through current #MulaiBicara campaign hopes to break silence surrounding the issue of sexual violence and start a discussion towards change in the community. The campaign asks people, communities, and institutions to be involved and actively work towards creating a safe environment for survivors of sexual violence and hopefully create a future of a zero-tolerance community on sexual violence.

One of the campaign's program is to communicate awareness toward sexual harassment using a musical show that being held on March, 2020. "Belakang Panggung" tells story about a theater company who is putting together the epic Rama Shinta (Indonesia's folklore) show. In the process, many disturbing things are happening backstage. Staging realities about sexual abuse and harassment happening in our daily lives is a way for us to educate the community to be more open, aware, and wise in dealing with these issues. Truthfully facing these issues, can prevent young boys, girls, teenagers, and women against sexual abuse.

Therefore, MAN Real Estate took part and supported Lentera Sintas Indonesia by sponsoring students to join in the campaign. By this support we hope to see more aware and caring teenagers that are willing to prevent women from sexual violence in their community.
